But yea blow out all the dust, sometimes this means taking the Laptop apart if you want to actually clean it well.
Try using VSync in Games to help lower the heat.
I don't see why you have to use Low Settings in games, crank it up, it can handle it.
The settings is not what makes the hardware run hot, it's the load and higher FPS that do that.
Then turn down some non essentials unless you achieve better FPS; things like Shadow Quality/Distance, Anti-Aliasing, God Rays, Motion Blur, Depth of Field....
Try with VSync enabled, so the FPS is capped.
Might use a cooling pad .
Set max processor state = 85% in the current power plan of Windows
