Ubuntu dualboot help
Hi!, i wanted to dual boot windows 10 and ubuntu. I did everything and im in the ubuntu installer. It asks: Unmount partitions that are in use? i have 2 options: no or yes.
I schrunk my hard disk for ubuntu.
can someone please help?

You need to add a partition to your HDD or install on a separate is better. I used to have win 7, win xp, and a Linux on 3 separate HDDs. I would just go into bios to select HDD. It is more trouble free that way, than being on the same drive.

it says this:

Do you want the installer to try to unmount the partitions on these disks before continuing? If you leave them mounted, you will not be able to create, delete, or resize partitions on these disks, but you may be able to install to existing partitions there.
