Alienware Steam Console vs Cybertron PC
Okay everyone, I seriously need an opinion here as I am going to be purchasing one or the other in a week but I am looking to transition into gaming through my computer and wonder for American Truck Simulator is it better to get a Steam Machine (if so which one) or a Cybertronic PC 8gb RAM, quad core, 3.8ghz??

Also with Alienware can I use a computer monitor or is it better using a TV

Alienware Steam Machine vs Gaming PC

just build a box buddy. don't rush into it. go to pcpartpicker and look at completed builds. go to reddit buildapc and look at completed builds. you could build a mini-itx that would outperform any steam machine at a fraction of the cost as well as load it with better parts than a prebuilt, allowing both superior console-like tv play and pc periphal exclusive play

budget is the biggest factor obviously but for the cost of a decent steam machine you can build a box that's way better
So computer monitor definitely?
My budget doesn't allow that to build a computer
It's cheaper to build it yourself
Yeah but I don't have the knowledge to do so

Watch build guides on YouTube, some of the best are made by LinusTechTips.
Thanks I appreciate it

Also choose your parts by using this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ , once you've got a list post it on here and I'll give some feedback on it and change anything if required.
Thanks I'll do it now

How is this cheaper lol

Biostar Hi-Fi A70U3F Motherboard
G. Skill Sniper 8GB RAM
GTX 950 or R7360 Graphics Card
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
Corsair Carbide Spec M2

Choice 4:
Intel Core i3 6100 3.7ghz Dual Core
ASRock H110M-HDV Motherboard
Corsair Value Select DDR4 RAM
Seagate Barracude 1TB
Zotac GTX 950AMP 2GB Graphics Card
Bifenix Nova Case
XFX XT 500W 80+ Bronze Power Supply

Price didnt change much after looking at pcpartpicker

Choice 5:
Intel Core i3 7300 4.0 ghz Quad Core
Gigabyte GA-X150M-Plus Motherboard
Ballistix Sport LT 8GB DDR4
WD Blue 1TB HDDf
MSI Gaming Radeon RX470 Graphics Card
Thermaltake Versa H15 Case
EVGA 500W 80+ PSU Power Supply

Far as budget is concerned I can float in the middle of the five choices without breaking the bank. I am looking to play at least American Truck Simulator on this so if there is a way I can save money buy buying a different component please let me know :)

I'd get this one however I'd get a H270 or B250 motherboard because they support Kaby Lake out of the box, with the 100 series chipset you will have to update the BIOS and that takes up a lot of time.
