Should run cs max fine, even for a laptop. Csgo really only takes up your cpu and a little of ram, even if 920mx is a joke it should be fine.

Well, define "fine".

CSGO, 1080p, max settings, no way. While any older mid range desktop card is totally fine, a 920mx is just way under that. Anything happening on the screen utility wise, or one of the more modern maps, and it will be unplayable.

Not sure why there's a 920mx in there in the first place, considering that thing is just as bad as integrated graphics.

Bonus question for OP:
- are you fine with lower resolutions, and lower settings?

Even for older Source games; if the Laptop has 1080p screen, then you want a higher GPU so as not to have to lower the res below native. I wouldn't go below GTX 950/960 M

For 720/768p screens; then even Intel HD 520/530 would do fine.
But yea below the NVIDIA GTX x50 / xx50 series of GPUs, don't bother.

Yes I'm fine with lower resolution, and lower setting because I'm doing same thing on my old pc
