Xbox One controller + wireless adapter randomly disconnecting in game
Hello everyone,

So I have an xbox controller and wireless dongle for a while and I keep having this problem where it disconnects in the middle of a game. I then have to turn the controller back on and wait for it to reconnect to the dongle. It happens to me in Witcher 3 the most. I read somewhere that it might be a result of steam messing around with the controller. Does anyone have any ideas about how to fix this??? It is really annoying being in the game one moment and then dying while you reconnect to the dongle. Also, I once had the steam controller plugged in, if that makes any difference.

Go to Device Manager, look for those HID devices for Receiver and Controller and ensure power saving is disabled.

Ok. I just changed that setting. I will post again if my problem persists.

No luck it seems... Controller still having the exact same issues.
