They dont have the money to sponsor pro players, they laid off a third of there workforce and sold off Saitek (joystick and flight simulator controllers) at a loss last year.

But boy I'm asking that if it is good for gaming or not because it is pricey too

I have an older Mad Catz Rat TE mouse and it's been fantastic. It's about two years old now but doesn't show any signs of age, it's very comfortable and very accurate.

CSGO isn't a good place to look for hot hardware. Players are Sponsored by major companies - literally paid to use their stuff. Just because CSGO pros use Razer or Zowie or SteelSeries doesn't mean those are good brands, it just means they're being paid money to use those products.

I have 1 RAT 5 that I'm using at this moment.
1 RAT 7 for collecting.
1 RAT 7 for using later.

The mouse does not only look cool, it has very good quality. Best mouse ever.

the RAT 5 and 7 have teflon stripes, so you can move them very precise.
You can use different pieces of weights.
The cord is very flexible, made of robust tissue.
The surface of it is (don't know the material) matt finish rubber.
And it's astonishing that this kind of rubber gets not removed, even if you use the mouse for very long.
The RAT 7 has 6400 dpi laser.
You can switch between 2 different precission DPI with a swith in front of the wheel.

And of course there are many options to adapt the mouse to your hand.

Mad Catz already filed for bankruptcy, so I don't know how will warranty cover you.

Just stay away, the company that made them is officially dead, you would have problems with support and software upgrades.
