What your budget for GPU?

I would say the price of a GTX 1080 and below. But I wouldn't buy it right away. Money is tight at the moment.

I'd recommend a GTX1060 6GB model or even better a Radeon RX480 8GB model. They're relatively affordable cards, well under $400 but still a huge improvement over what you have now.

And yes, your CPU really is pretty good. The Core Frequencies are pretty low and you can't improve them through overclocking, but it's still a rock solid gaming CPU and a very low upgrade priority. I'd keep it for a while yet and replace it with the next big generational change.

its a bit stupid cuz you get penalized on one of the tests if your monitor doesnt have the resolution the test was designed for.

Really? I didn't know that. That is stupid.

Yeah, it tried doing a 3K res and it said i was penalized 30% or 60% cant remember which for not being able to do that resolution so it did my native instead.
