XBox One Controller Blinking and turning off
I use my xbox one controller for the headset on pc, and for the past week it's been working fine. But recently, its just been blinking and then shutting off. I tried changing the batteries, usb cords, and even syncing the xbox and the controller before coming back (the xbox is far away from the pc.) Any suggestions?

Xbox Console has nothing to do with it really; you can only ever be synced to one system at a time. Just reset the controller. Remove the batteries and use data-sync usb cable.

Removed the batteries, same issue. I believe I'm already using a data sync cable.

Is that when you sync them with XBox, or is it something different?

Already done this.

I am having the same problem. Always been working fine until recently. Don't listen to what these people are saying, its not gonna work. The way I got mine to work again was to exit steam completely, then turn my Xbox One Wireless Controller on. Then I open steam up again and works just fine. I'm not sure if there was a recent update to steam, I don't really pay attention, but this was a way I was able to fix it. its dumb but it works. Thanks :)

Yup, it has no place on a real gaming PC
