Why don't macs have graphics cards and is it possible to add them?
My family uses macs and apparently "I'm not old enough to have my own PC" so I don't really have a way to game

Why dont macs have graphics cards? Because they were not intended for gaming
Is it possible to add them? Not unless you have an old Mac Pro and then it is cost prohibitive and not all that great.

If they wont go the Windows OS Gaming PC route; then I'd suggest XboxOne or PS4 route instead. No, Macs aren't for gaming and really can't change that.

Tell your parents that you are old enough because there is no age restriction to use a PC, and no you can't add GPU'S to Mac's and even if you could it would make no sense to do it because you would be likely be bottlenecked by the CPU.

Tell your parents that you can be any age to use a computer, and no you can't add GPU'S to Mac's and even if you could it would make no sense to do it because you would be likely be bottlenecked by the CPU.

CPU means nothing if there is no dedicated GPU Card.
Games need both.

For example;
i3/i5/i7 class CPU (or AMD equivalent CPU)
+ NVIDIA or AMD based dedicated GPU

You don't "NEED" a dedicated graphics card to run games, modern IGP(APU's) do pretty good job handling most of the games.

Sure you can, but it won't be pretty or fast.

Run yes, run in a manner worth playing; or have a playable experience, NO

Without a dedicated GPU, your "Gaming PC" won't even be near on-par with Consoles even.

If your parents won't let you have PC just say to them that you can build a cheap one that the whole family can use and it will be better than the Mac. I'd recommend starting with an Intel Pentium G4620 (has the performance of the i3 6100 and has 2 cores and 2 threads), B250 or H270 motherboard, 8GB of DDR4 RAM, GTX 1050Ti 4GB, at least 430W power supply, 1TB HDD and of course the all of the peripherals (monitor,mouse,keyboard,speakers/ headphones ect). A PC like this will destroy a Mac in nearly every single situation.

AMD A10-7890K APU (1920x1080)(CURRENT GEN)
CS:GO : 66.3 (MAX SET , NO AA)
DOTA2: 58.4 (MED SET)
GTA V: 31.1 (NORM PRES, OFF)
GRID : 47.9 (MED)

Yea that has a AMD GPU; that won't happen with Intel + Intel GPU.
30 FPS is not pleasant; so yea, those #s are rubbish, not enjoyable.

Again where you going with that?
OP is talking about an Intel based Mac; again not suitable for Gaming with just CPU.

You said; You "NEED" a graphics card to run games, which is clearly not a case.
