display drivers crashing
tech issue: display drivers constantly crash
whenever i play csgo (or any game), within 10-20 minutes of play i get freezing+soundlooping, and then the entire screen goes black and crashes. afterwards i see a notification that reads:

Display driver AMD driver has stopped responding and has successfully recovered

i've tried several solutions online but none seem to work for my specific situation

Please post your computer components and the OS you're running. It's requested here

Physically remove your video card and then reinstall it. Run an extensive test of your RAM with this http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm

What solutions have you tried?
right, sorry.

athlon ii x2 250 3.0ghz
4gb ram
gigabyte radeon rx 460 2gb
640gb wd caviar blue hdd
and a 430w evga psu

im running windows 7 64bit

i've also tried changing the tdrdelay in regedit from 2 to 8 and underclocking my gpu

Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and run it in safe mode to uninstall all GPU drivers.

After that, reinstall the latest Crimson ReLive drivers.
(download the drivers before running DDU, otherwise you have 640x480p resolution to surf to the AMD page)
Try a different driver, remove any kind oft OC / check temps, check PSU.

Also, try to use a low fps_max in csgo, to reduce load, and try again.
didnt work, ive tried memtest, clean installing drivers and inspecting my pc for physical damage and i am still crashing in cs
Well, try the other part with fixed low fps_max, temp check, etc.

do i disable temp checking on my cpu or gpu?
Neither, you actually check it, and report.
ah, thats what you mean.
gpu while playing csgo is 45-50c
cpu is 40-50c

ive heard the highest temp a gpu/cpu can run at 80c so i think these temps are reasonable
Run DDU App
http://www.wagnardsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=749
^Click where says "Official Download Here"
Extract it (like to C:\DDU) and run it. Then select Safe Mode > Restart
Once in Safe Mode and DDU app launches
then select AMD from the list of brands > Clean and Restart
Then download and install these:

AMD Chipset Drivers (this is under the Optional Downloads tab, install this first)

AMD Radeon Software

when i try installing the chipset drivers, it gives me error 182 that reads

AMD Installer cannot properly identify the AMD Graphics Hardware

it also seems you posted a download link for an apu so that might be why i get this error, but correct me if im wrong
The Chipset Drivers cover basically ever kind of AMD based Motherboard Chipset

Ok what is the exact Motherboard model?

alright, update

ive tried installing the normal drivers before installing the chipset drivers (there might not be a difference) and im being given two options

one says local driver 16.50
and the other says optional driver 17.2.1
Ok here is Chipset Driver for your Motherboard:
http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/14875/en-us

For AMD GPU Driver, since you have RX-400 series GPU, best bet is use very latest GPU Driver (17.2.1)
