What is a good fan curve in MSI Afterburner?

Specs

CPU: AMD FX 8350
GPU: GTX 1060 3 GB
RAM: 8 GB

GPU Fan

Does anyone know a good GPU and CPU fan? My GPU is getting really hot with the stock cooler and I've been told that the stock CPU cooler is bad

GPUs should be fine as-is.
CPUs, that can vary. As the stock coolers those come with are sometimes barely enough.
Might need to add some Case Fans also.

Yea AMD Stock coolers for FM2/AM3 are poor.
Get one like this; just ensure it will fit in the Case.

You can go for Noctua NH-D14 for the CPU cooler, or the coolers that Bad-motha has listed.

What the temps for the CPU and GPU? You can use HWMonitor, or MSI afterburner, to find out, while you're playing a game.

Corsair 200r maximum CPU cooler height is 165mm.

Fan or liquid cooling?

To cool the 8350 properly you need an aftermarket cooler, I recommend the Hyper 612 with an Fhp141 fan on it, it will fit but might cover one of your ram chips. With the fhp141 it beats most small and medium liquid cooling setups if you have it on performance setting. It also has a quiet setting if the noise is too much.

I have 5 Fhp141's in my case, 2 as front intake fans, 2 on my cpu cooler (Heligon HE01) and one exhaust. They are thicker than regular fans (38mm vs 25mm reg) but they push a lot more air.

You might want to consider the Jetflo 120 as intake and exhaust fans as your case might not accommodate multiple fhp141's. The jetflo comes with 2 silent adapters so you can run quieter or silently.

I use just 2 points, one at 40degrees 40% and the other at 60degrees 80% with a diagonal line connecting them (double click the line to change it), this ensures they run continually and ramp up when needed.
