Does any NVIDIA card work with shadowplay/GeForce Experience? urgent help pls
I have a Zotac 1050ti 4gb GPU. It's not a "GeForce" Gpu but its still a NVIDIA GPU nonetheless. Can I download GeForce experience and use it?

The 1050Ti is a GeForce card and yes it will work because every GeForce card from the I believe the 700 series has a built in encoder (H 264) that controls screen capturing on GTX cards.

Going by what said by them any GTX Geforce 600 series, and 660m, or higher will support Shadowplay.

You don't have a choice, if you want to use Shadowplay/Record.

Or you can use OBS, but it will be more work on the hardware.

Not if you set the correct encoder and settings.

OBS can use the Nvidia hardware encoder.

It's going to use more resources, than the Geforce shadowplay/record, just because it can use the hardware encoder, doesn't mean it's going be equal to what Nivida offers, without compromise.

Also please know that I didn't say how much resources will be used in compare to shadowplay, as this vary from card, game/software, screen resolution, and etc...

Please note that I said more than just the encoder. If you set the rest of the settings correctly, you will get near identical performance, save for individual application quirks and whatnot.

No need to force yourself to use GeForce Experience, if you don't want to. Feel free to take advantage of the hardware encoder, without the bloat.
