does your microphone have a noise-cancelling feature?
Any fans in the room maybe?
PC too close and it's picking up the noise?
Sometimes just having your recording volume and any db boost too high could do it too, or at least something similar where you sound distorted, or it's so high it still picks up some background noises.
thanks for the suggestion I tried it but still doesnt work im starting to think its something to do with my motherboard
You can also Un-Mute the Mic under Playback in Windows, so whatever is going through the Mic you can hear it live. I would use Headphones for that test, since having Speakers on would create a looping effect and most likely just a build up of noise.
From what you describe, most likely is the Mic itself or some sort of Setting.
Does your Case have a Window that faces you and your Mic?
