Does this AIO cpu cooler leak easily?
I really want to buy this cpu cooler https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16835856078 (Deepcool captain 240ex) but im afraid it will leak easily like 4-5 months. If you guys think i should buy another cpu cooler my 2nd option is NZXT kraken x52. Its sexy as well but pricy as ♥♥♥♥ which then cost me another 60 bucks. So what do u guys think?

"A leaking cooler shouldn't destroy a PC"
Apple Powermac G5's first generation was recalled due that that type of a problem.

And how long ago was that?
Ages.....
2003 to 2011 and they covered them all even the ones out of warrenty.

If one does go the AIO route...avoid any AIO's that require a special aditive in the liquid...That is why Apple had issues with theirs (they inadvertatly used an aditive that, while it wokred really, really good, was also highly corosive when mixed with water).

Do NOT BUY DEEPCOOL products they will leak every time and destroy your computer. There is no phone number for customer service just email. They have no honor and will not stand by there warranty.

BS, they are just as good as any.

If you want quality, buy EVGA or NZXT

Spring Sales are on just about everywhere now. EVGA GPUs and all Cooling products are on sale to prepare Gamers for Summer time. 280mm = $99 USD from EVGA.com

To answer a few things here, deepcool do have a worse rep and failure rate for leaking around the pump than others, so I would not personally go with them to save a few bucks.

ALL fluid, regardless of what it is will eventually become conductive if it is in contact with metal for long enough.

If you freshly fill a custom loop with deionised water or similar and it leaks right away, you should be ok, if however it happens in 6 months time... You may not be as lucky.

Overall, aio's are perfect fly safe, and, as long as you don't abuse it, you have a VERY small chance of it developing a leak if it doesn't leak right away (same tends to be true of custom loops).

A good aio pump should easily last the lifetime of the pc, but, just with anything, things can fail, I'm still running an aio I got around 6 years ago and it's been running non stop for the vast majority of that time.

In the same build there are some fans still running since when I got the case over 10 years ago! While I've had an expensive high end Corsair hd120 fan turn up DOA, so failure rates isn't something I would worry about, for every item that has died early there are ones that have lived on long past their expected lifetime.
