And yes, the 1050 should handle 4K just fine at the desktop. It won't handle any kind of 4K gaming, though. Not even my 1080 is beefy enough for that.
as long as it isnt used for games in 4K, it should do fine.
Should work great for that. Just remember to turn the Resolution down to 1920X1080 if you ever want to play any games. Otherwise you'll get a stutterfest.
