DDR4 3000 CAS 15 or DDR4-3200 CAS 16?

I have two RAM kits that I'm looking at for my new PC. They're both 16GB, both from the same brand, both cost almost the same, the difference is CAS latency VS frequency. Which one goes faster?

Those 2 are basically the same speed as each other. Get whatever's cheaper.

Frequency determines speed, the 3200 will have slightly more bandwidth/throughput.

3000 / 15 = 200
3200 / 16 = 200

exactly same speed
if you want some improvement then go with 3200 / 14 = 228.5

RAM speed is generally more important for performance compared to CL, and CL isn't the best metric for latency. http://www.crucial.com/usa/en/memory-performance-speed-latency

I would look for DDR4 3600 rather than pay $170 USD for DRR4 3200 CL14. This is a better buy: https://m.newegg.com/Product/index?itemnumber=N82E16820232194

That is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up....i got 32 gigs of that same ram for what they are asking for now but you only get 16gigs..... lol about the same time last year
