Problem is I have fm2 socket which sucks

An example ^ of the x4 860k just dying in the division even with the gtx1060 there was no hope for the x4 860k, so it depends on the game.

Ps, on FM2/2+ those athlons just aren't strong or even moderate classed cpus.

What exactly is your current GPU? 1050ti could be worth it if your current GPU is already not keeping up with the 860k. I would upgrade the CPU as well if you can afford to do so.

That is pretty balance, if one part is upgraded I'm pretty sure the other would bottleneck. I think upgrading to a 1050ti would be a good choice then I would definately upgrade the CPU later on or now if you have the money. You will have to repace the motherboard and ram though when you upgrade the CPU.
