I'd also give you advice to get headphones and a mic, over a headset. These gaming headsets are typically overpriced for what you get and are usually of cheap quality. Typically, you can get a better headphones and mic setup over a headset, dollar per dollar.
I don't know if you speak virtual surround or actual surround standards, my knowledge of the later is basically that DTS had a higher bitrate and possibly better bass or something than DD but that was back in the 5.1 era and then I know Dolby Atmos came which I would assume could had replaced all the old stuff with all its channels and support for lots of speakers... But supposedly that wasn't good enough because I think DTS or something released their own "even more"-version over that.
My friend have the G933, I've got the impression they should be good but I haven't noticed anything special with them.
A non-IRL friend have the Siberia 840 or whatever ~3500 SEK headphones but I haven't used those so I have no idea.
I haven't listened to the good stuff but chances are I'd buy something like the Sennheiser HD 599, Beyer-Dynamic DT770/880/990 or similar and a separate microphone. For a mouth-piece you can get the Mod mic (3 omni-directional?), a lavalier ("mosquito") microphone but also do things like using womic from Google Play with your smartphone or so.
