Also, XBox still lacks games, E3 didn't change that.
Or maybe you just don't want to spend much more on a PC just for the same performance.
Nah you can get a real good Samsung 4K TV for 500€ now even a bit less. And you forget that you use a TV for more then just playing the scorpio.
Price per performance is better with PC hardware... just most ppl dont buy their pc with possible upgrade path so they need to buy a whole new system which makes the initial cost more expensive nor they dont know like you that consoles use ultra low graphic programmed games to run at all with that hardware...
Why would we do that if there is no real incentive to doing that?
PS4 Pro has the better selection of console exclusive titles and costs less.
Why get a XBox One X?

The Initial prices for a complete new build is mostly more expensive but unlike with consoles you take over your HDD/SSD, PSU, optical drives and maybe even RAM and MoBo over. Performancewise the hardware in consoloes match hardware from 8 years on pc. Just do the comparrison with the computing and graphic performance of a console like PS4 with computer hardware and you'll see that computerhardware gets same performance done with 8 yearl old tech that get sold for real low prices. the only thing why consoles can play modern games are the ultra low graphic settings and maxed out optimization.
Just compare SW:BF1 on PS4 and PC. you have no graphicx effects on the console all the nice lighting effects are missing and thats actually the thing that makes the game worth playing at all.
First off, no console does half the stuff u can do on a PC.
PC games can be had for cheap.
Console game basically don't drop in pricing, unless you can get a used physical copy perhaps. PC games go on-sale all the time, or can be purchased very cheap even before the game releases. I paid approx total of $50 for Fallout 4 + Season Pass, before it even released on PC. Try doing that with Console games.
Consoles strangle you with digital pricing and their focus on offering users deals, when you pay for service subs, like Xbox Live, PSN.
Consoles have small amount of storage, upgrading that means an external slow storage.
You could technically get an SSD for internal and turn the old HDD into an external, but that also has a price which console users seem to laugh at. Fact is, a slow HDD means the entire system is slow. Seriously, how long does it take to install GTAV on a fresh console? Hmm about an hour or so (and thats from physical disc version) and then there are patch updates to do. Then it takes forever just to get into the game and play it.
PC can last you way longer than any console, if you go about doing it right.
At the least you might need to upgrade cooling, storage, GPU over time perhaps.
Consoles use apps that are nothing more than basically how all Mobile apps are, which are sub-par and don't offer a good well rounded experience like when compared to using it on PC in a web browser or client app; such as Twitch for example.
PC allows you much more, such as doing work, recording, rendering, photo editing, etc...
Don't try to build a PC for $500 or less; it will only hurt your chance of it having a longer life overall as far as how far down the road that CPU / GPU performance can last you before upgrading is basically a must to keep up with future demanding games.
It used to be that you buy a Console and you'd be good for many many years. This is no longer the Case to a certain extent. Sure if you still have an original XboxOne from around Nov 2015, you're probably still ok with that. But the fact is, they do revise those over time and that have gotten faster and better since release. And I'm not talking about the S or X models.

Oh, and there was no misquoting either. You're intentionally trying to mislead moderators.
