Question about a DIYPC case
Does anyone have any knowledge about building in a DIYPC Silence-BK case? My main questions are three fold. 1" How stable is a DVD drive when mounted inside the case? As in is it sturdy enough to handle it being mounted on only three points. Taking into account with at least 3-6 screws holding it in place. 2" How is it to work in? Finaly is there anything I should be aware of when building inside of it?

It's not a cheap quality case, by any means.

That one is SPCC 1.5 mm thick cold-rolled Japanese Steel; and weighs 18 lbs
with nice quality rolled edges, unlike most cheap cases made from 0.8-1.0mm thick Chinese or Korean steel or aluminum, which are cases to avoid.

DIY is a decent in-house brand

It is very similar to Fractal Design Refine R4 or R5

In most cases, just using 2 screws (one on each side) for a 5.25 Optical Drive should do the trick fine. I'd only do all 4 if vibration is an issue with a certain drive + case; as sometimes that is an issue.
