if drivers, MTP and Kies installed, and device switched in MTP mode, it mean problem with ports, cable, or virus infection

if port on device broken, use google drive \ one drive \ dropbox \ yandex disk, airdroid or ftp for transfer data and sync

Unlock your phone then click the USB connection notification at the top to make sure you have it set to allow file transfer. Sometimes you need to do it one or twice on some phones.

Edit: you could get a OTG memory stick

I dont want to use it exactly for data transfer. But I need it to be detected so that i can use its microphone with the computer.

then switch to PTP mode (camera and mic if supported by device) or MIDI mode
or try an app for this, like wo-mic

Try checking device manager to see if it is actually there. May have an error. Try reinstalling/updating drivers.

Try the drivers linked here
http://www.teamandroid.com/2015/01/16/samsung-galaxy-a5-usb-drivers-download/

If that still doesn't work and you have bluetooth an on your system you can try connecting via that instead of wifi.
while connected via usb cable, some phones require to be unlocked and ned to change mode to allow media transfers before it cab be explored via windows explorer.

when first connected, usb drivers for android devices are installed first.
