Just get a RX 460. Do not bother with 5+ year old hardware.

i used a GTX 960 with DDR 2 you should be fine
current card is a GTX 1060 6 gig amd i'm seeing a bit of bottleneck but my games are over 60 FPS in 1080 P .. so i'm putting off my upgrade for my CPU and main board for a bit longer

my CPU is a intel core 2 quad Q 9650 with 8 gig of DDR 2 on an old ASUS P 5 B
2 SSD drives + a 1 tb WD blue
Gigabyte GTX 1060 windforce 2 6 gig
SB live card
Win 10 Pro 64 bit

I'd go with an RX 560 instead. It's newer and will likely recieve driver support for much longer.

DDR version doesn't matter all that much.

But you should start saving up for a cheap CPU like the G4560 and a new motherboard and RAM. Because your current CPU isn't powerfull enough anymore for modern games.

I thought it was...?
The 580, 570, and I think even the 550 are all out, so why not the 560?

(I've even seen prebuilt Dell PCs with 560's at stores)

Maybe system builders already have them but it will release to the consumer somewhere this month.

Wait I just saw that the rx 460 needs less watt than the gtx 570
