Gtx 970 or 1050 Ti

GTX 970. GTX 1050 Ti is slightly better than GTX 960.

On the other hand GTX 1050 Ti may not need more than 75W depends on model.

Gtx970 is a bit faster, but i would go with a 1050ti myself because it is newer and has more vram.

If the card is slower more VRAM is USELESS.

Well, would you want a 960 or 970? A 1050 or 1060? Probably the latter.
(*if power consumption is not an issue)

I mean, when you go over 3.5gb on a gtx970, the card becomes pretty damn useless too...

Thats comparing gtx970 vs gtx1060. The op asked gtx970 vs gtx1050ti.

I know that. The GTX1060 is better than the GTX1050Ti, so then compare the GTX1060 to the GTX1050Ti and the results can be interpolated.

Seriously? Its an easy choice. The GTX 970 is nearly 70% faster than the GTX 1050 ti.

GTX970 is a different class the gtx1050ti is in the GTX960 class, no matter what DX the GTX970 will always pull ahead.

Ps, the Rx 570/Rx 470/R9 390 are in the GTX970 class.
