Corsair k55 keyboard - macro key assignment issues

Has anyone had issues assigning macro keys with this keyboard?

I decided to assign some keys to a macro button to automate sprinting in my FPS games today. The keyboard seems to not be assigning the keys properly so here's an illustration of what's happening:

imagine visualizing your character pulling back their gun in response to sprinting, but instead of actually sprinting, you see your character pull back on the gun for a quarter of a second and no sprinting. Repeated pressing results in the same whipping back of the gun and no sprinting. I have been able to assign macro keys for launching programs such as steam (Windows key + steam + enter), but sometimes my macro key for launching ableton doesnt work because this happens: (Windows key + bleton + enter). It drops the a for some bizarre reason resulting in "No results for "bleton" . It does this once and then upon my second try, it executes the macro key combo properly (and this happens consistently).

Ordered a Logitech G105 to compare with tomorrow - either Corsair missed the mark with this keyboard's built in macro key assignment function or I got a lemon!

Is it something u wish to repeat? If so then the key still needs to be held down.

Ah yes, good point. I have actually done that; I've tried holding down W and Shift for about 5-7 seconds and I got the exact same result! It's weird
