ASUS VS248H Monitor Issue / Problem (in English & Deutsch)

English
Hi there fellows,
I have an ASUS VS248H 24' LED monitor (among other 7 different monitors) which goes off and turns back on each time something else in the house (no mater where) is being turned off (eg. the lights on another room or the refrigerator).

This happens since a few weeks now after "years" without any problems.

The cables as well as the fuse box, etc. in the house are relatively new and underutilized.

I'm grateful about any solution or suggestions - Thank you in advance :)

~ cheers ~

~ cheers ~

You are probably over loading you're breaker. Meaning you are drawing to much power at once

Tested it also alone / removed any possible device from any possible socket, but still nothing...

Just re-read your post.
If you turn something off and your monitor goes off it could be that you have a faulty connection. If it is a faulty connection you should get it fixed asap ( otherwise your house might burn down ). Or it could be that you have a old school wiring technique, but since you said the things are new that can't be it.
I would call a electrician if i were you.

It could be that your faulty connection is causing a serie connection instead of a parallel one, which is very dangerous. Just call a electrician, it's the safest option

Hi Country Joe Mcdonald,
very appreciated for you suggestion but i think i'll throw it into the tinker box and get a new 27" ....

*edit/added:

btw I have eight Monitors here and four of them are almost always working.... this only happens with the ASUS VS248H since a few weeks now...

That might not solve the problem. If it is just simply using to much power, you should be fine, but if it's a faulty connection plugging in a new monitor won't help.
Anyway, goodluck.
