It can be dangerous to hardware, depending on what you submerge in the oil.
You'll regret it.
this would be cooler when it becomes available to the masses.

2. Depending what you use, research on the types of oils you need to use.
3. Depends on you, it may look cool with swag, but you will regret it when you want to resell the parts, or whatever other reason that will later come.

I think I'm stuck in the middle of "I want my next big PC challenge" and "I really don't want to destroy my pc".
I'm getting the feeling now it's a bit too much of a risk with the high end hardware I got.
I've now decided to start working on a showcase pc instead.
I'm going to order the ThermalTake tower 900 Which seems to be a very impressive showcase for me to work on.
Will definetly give me that challenge I've wanted.
If you want better cooling, get a custom loop water cooler for your whole PC, that will allow you good OC with low temps and low noise.
Oil is great, but you have to keep in mind, that the oil needs to cool down as well and withouth a radiator a small tank will get hot pretty fast and your components will start thermal throttling.
Did you look at my previous post.
Look at the picture. My current pc is already entirely water cooled in one big loop. I was looking for something new to challenge myself. I'm now going for my first hardline tubing thermaltake tower 900 build.
The same feeling crossed my mind to be honest. It's kinda why i've given up on the idea.
