Does having a Higher Hz Monitor lower FPS?
Like for example.

Im playing a game on high settings with my 60hz monitor.
and i decide to upgrade to a 144hz monitor.

will my fps stay the same with a 144hz monitor or will i need to change my settings in game to be at 60fps again.

More Hz means the screen can display more FPS per second. It will not lower your FPS.

wut he said and if you cant run 144 frames on games your not even using the monitor to its full potential

Higher resolution would slow it down (calculating more pixels), but higher Hz only would not reduce fps
