HELP PLEASE: Steelseries Siberia Elite V2 mic not working!
Hi,

Everything is working fine except that my microphone isnt working? My computer can detect the microphone but it just cant receive any input? i've set it to default, volume is 100, uninstall and installed the drivers x1000 but it still doesnt work. HELP PLEASE
p.s. been trying to solve this for days, and i'm guessing its something to do with the drivers but idk which driver is the issue.

Headset: Steelseries Siberia Elite V2
Graphic card: GTX 960 version 381.65
SteelSeries Engine version 3.9

Try another Mic

Then its probably faulty onboard audio or jack.
Try a 2x 3.5mm (headphone + mic) jack to usb adapter

Thanks for the reply, could it possibly be the driver problem? i THINK i downloaded the steelseries engine and then it couldn't work anymore:steamsad:

Is the headset USB or connect via analog jacks?
If analog, u don't need any extra software; control it from your onboard audio

Headset is connected via USB soundcard v2, so i'm thinking maybe there's some conflict in the driver somewhere?

No I'd be questioning the physical Mic on the headset itself.
