Werfault.exe
Okay so my pc has started running insanely slow hard drive usage is constantly at 100%

And about every 10 seconds or so i receive an error saying this in exact words

The instruction at 0x00000000073B55CC0 referenced memory at 0x00000000073B55CC0. The required data was no placed into memory because of an I/O error status 0xc000009c

Click on OK to terminate the program

Terminating it does nothing as it reappears after like 8 seconds...
Currently downloading malwarebytes so i can scan but in the mean time would like to know if anyone had an idea of how to fix this computer runs somewhat fine with the werfault error opened but lags a when i open a program and sometimes windows freezes...

(Note my OS is windows 10)

If Windows fails to install, its most likely a Faulty RAM stick instead of a HDD issue
Had that problem on a 775 system installing an OS before, removed the bad RAM stick and everything worked normally. It also affected games, thus the reason for the reinstall but i found out the RAM stick was the cause of both problems.

Run memory diagnostics on each RAM seperately and see if any is at fault.
For the time being, if found RAM to be at fault, remove that entirely.
Then format C (pick Advanced during OS Setup at Drive Select)
Connect only the OS drive when doing this, to avoid accidents.
Then see if OS installs properly after having ruled out faulty RAM.
If no RAM is faulty, chanced are the physical disk is damaged.
