good old google (next time use lmgtfy :P)...
@OP: I wouldnt look to much at the benchmarks. In the end the top producers doesnt take much compared to each other. What is way more important imo is the support you getting in your region.
Google some reviews on each and pick one you like. I love my Msi gaming myself, just cant put much OC on it, only like a +50 or so to hit 2012-2032mhz.
Funny thing is, I actually watched this video - but I thought maybe I would've been provided with more information from other sites/videos. But thanks (read the comment below - it's also an answer to your reply) :)
Watching the video, both cards are slightly the same but ASUS wins. To answer your question, I don't about support in my country, but what I can tell you is that the Xtreme Gaming is $100 more than the ROG Strix.
Damn, I forgot about reviews! Thanks for reminding me. I'll be looking into it.
For the most part they all perform the same, just how they look (just dont get the msi white armor one) and size of them (like theres a singleslot 1070 out there too).
Agreed 100% !!! I'll definitely be going with ASUS.
More or less, they all perform the same. I checked the reviews for both cards and most of the Xtreme Gaming GPU had more cons than pros, compared to ASUS. Not minor issues, though, but it's enough to go with ASUS - so ASUS it is!
YEAHHHHHHH, BOYYYYYYYY!
Well and for me it would be learly Gigabyte as it is best supported by local store and i like the cooling power and that i have ability to OC with my Aorus MoBo greatly when i actually need it. The Gigabyte or Aorus LED's are not behind in anything imo. But also I'm not on budget that I have to look on the price.
One thing on rewievs you should keep in mind: alot of happy consumers dont write a review and the unhappy consumers tend to descripe it worse then they actually are. Also you have alot of fanboys writing a bad review simply because well the are fanboys :D. But also PC specialist are strange sometimes. The Ryzen 7 got bad reviews by computer magazines in germany because the Ryzen 7 doesnt have a iGPU. But who buys a high end expensive CPU and doesnt have themoney/doesnt use a dedicated GPU?
which says nothing. with SLI/CX or a 6950X you get best benchmark scores but they still suck in real usage... also with no comparrison it is absoulty an information which doesnt tell anything.
Yeaaa, 1070's perform basically the same....just got 3589 on 1080p extreme at stock clocks lol, and a 3570k...
But Op was just wanting to konw the differance between 2 differant manufactureer gpu's. This is a great example about how close they perform. Mines a MSI 1070, you'rs gigabyte 1070, literally same score at stock clocks.
