I think they probably need to make this more apparent before you buy that monitor, but I may be wrong.

*To activate 144Hz function (in 2D mode), both DisplayPort (or Dual-link DVI) and a selected graphics card with the latest driver are required. Please kindly contact the service center of your graphics cards companies for further technical supports.

That says the monitor will only run at 144Hz in 2D mode and not in 3D mode when you're running a 3D game.

Whats the issue? Apply Res & Refresh in your AMD Crimson/ReLive settings.

Here are some good suggestions for setting up this Display for good color balance.

Can you be more specific,I am such a begginer with that stuff:steamsad:
Load up GPU-Z and tell us the Device ID#

It's possible the DVI on your GPU is not DVI Dual-Link
If it is not then you'd need to use DisplayPort for 144Hz

That's a R7 240; 144Hz doesn't really help you with such a low end, non-Gaming GPU.
It would help to get something better; like RX 470/480 or 570/580

So that mean that i need to change a GPU right?
Well 144Hz isn't going to help you when you don't have a Gaming worthy GPU.

A large number of the R7 240 have a Single-link DVI-D port, which is why he isn't able to get above 60HZ, there's very few that does have a dual link port.

Does my GPU support 144hz?
OP's Device ID points me to this, which states "Dual Link DVI"

It's just a matter of setting Res + Refresh in the AMD GPU Software; very simple.
How else do you set it?

But again, for what? Games wont run well on any 240 GPU, it's way too low-end.

Another thing about most ASUS Monitors, be sure to go in the OSD Menu on the Monitor and Disable "Splendid Demo Mode"; as this is enabled by default for showing them in stores.

A 3D game on the regular screen is 2D mode. 3D mode involves 3D glasses, and will do 72Hz for the left eye, and 72Hz for the right eye at peak performance and compatible glasses.
