Thrustmaster T500rs not detected in any game
So the other day I got myself a T500rs plus the Th8RS shifter as a upgrade for my G27 wheel and when it came to setting it up in had a big problem. No games would detect it. I made sure I installed the driver properly which i did, under the game controllers menu it was showing as T500rs racing wheel and not thrustmaster FFB wheel and I was able to access the profiler and all the buttons and pedels worked fine there but no matter what I did not game would detect the wheel . I tried it on Ets2, Ats, project cars and F1 2016 but it wasn't showing up. To make sure it wasn't a fault with the wheel I plugged it into my ps4 and launched F1 2016 and on the ps4 it worked fine. After that I got in touch with thrustmaster and explained to them what was going on and they said the cause was most likely to be another driver or program that's causing the issue so I deleted a couple of programs I don't need and ran the cleaner to get rid of junk files etc but the problem was still there so I took the chance and reset windows 10 ( pc came with windows 10 installed already so can't go back to 8) . After resetting windows the wheel worked fine and I've got to day it's a great wheel. After I got home today though and logged on my pc today do some trucking the problem is back and none of the games will detect my wheel. I haven't downloaded any other programs so I guess it must be something within windows. I did do a restore back to yesterday when it was working but even after the restored the problem was still there. Anyone got any ideas what the cause could be? It would be greatly appreciated if someone can help solve my problem as the wheel cost me alot and I can't use it. Cheers

Steam > Big Picture > Controller options, disable all controller support and properly Exit.
Then reboot the PC or restart Steam.

Check that the device fully is shown, set to preferred default, and is working in Windows OS;
by pressing Winkey+R
type JOY.CPL
check all of that in there.
