If I were to only record CSGO with only Obs should i go i7-7700k with gtx 1050 ti or i5-7600k with Gtx 1060

Go with the second
The CPU is just fine and a 1060 is a bit better than the 1050 Ti

Go with a 1600X over the 7600k. Same stock gaming performance (i5 wins in some R5 wins in others), but the 1600X has a gigantic lead in streaming/recording.

Not true at all. Ryzen is perfectly fine for gaming, they just dont game as well as a 7700k. In CSGO, either CPU will work (again, same gaming performance), but the 1600X streams better due to the extra cores/threads.

The i5-7600k is good too, but it streams much worse.

well a 7700K wont even use 15% of its capability on CSGo so i doubt that streaming will affect it in the first place...

1060 is not just a bit better than 1050 ti, it will give him 20-30 fps more and that's quite a lot.

CSGO maxed settings at 1080p doesn't even fully utilised GTX 1050Ti.

i5-7600k with Gtx 1060 obviously, why bottleneck yourself and get a GTX 1050 ti with a much more powerful i7 7700k
