Why a prebuild? Why Alienware... *gringe*

A child can build a PC...

Do not buy one of those things.. they are overpriced AF, a local websop where I live sells a used one for a 1050 euro with a i5 6400, 8gb RAM and the GPU isn't even mentioned... Just email or call a local PC shop and ask them to build a gaming PC for you.

Some people don't know how to build a PC, even though it is easy to do, the reaserch that goes into it is pretty intense. I almost went to ibuypower to build it because I was so scared I was going to break something.

As for alienware, they are the macs of pc gaming. Overpriced, for meh rigs.

It looks very intimidating especially all the cables but it is actually quite easy.

I teach kids how to do this.
I learned at the age of 8-12; learned alot in that time for this.
And that was BEFORE anything Internet.

I know. But I think that it is mostly the research that turns people away. You can't just build a good gaming pc without any knowledge of what goes into a pc. On top of that, you need to know what parts are good for you.

You sure can, just like buying one with good specs. Problem is, you'll spend probably 25%+ more for same PC from some brand, that you could just built yourself for less.

If you want to buy a pre-build, I'd say go look at customer reviews from Dell, Alienware, etc... and make your choice. You dont need us then to buy a prebuild. Prebuilds from decent brand are going to be spec'd per pricing. Avoid crap like CyberPower and iBuyPower; look at their customer reviews; some of the poorest customer support in the USA. They should be shame to call themselves a US brand of any kind.

I just don't know what parts to get and I don't know to much about builting a pc I saw some videos about the pc and they said it was pretty good it can run the game I normally play at a way better fps then I play with now. I just like the convenience of a pre bulit pc plug it up and go

yeah i was looking at the cyberpower and ibuypower but the reviews were really bad on them, that's why I like the alien computer, and my dad works with some people who use them and they say there super good.

Alienware is utterly overpriced and often skimped on the less obvious parts like power supply. Build it yourself, honestly. Those guys above know it right.

Tell us your budget and we can help.

Use PcPartPicker.com and make a list. It's a fantastic website for PC building.

Do what you want to do. I have built pc's before and if you enjoy it then go that direction. If you like the look of the alienware I would say go that route also. I have an Aurora R5 and love it. When I bought it I was looking at this custom build I wanted to do and the price difference came to around $50.00. The dell includes a warranty though and less of your free time. I'm older and don't like the looks of a great many cases I like the in between looks of the Aurora, that doesn't scream gamer and I like its size with the expandability if I need it. There are better options price wise though also the Asus Rog G20 CB can be found for around $1100 with a 1070 in it.
If you enjoy building one though and the parts you are looking at are less expensive considerably than a pre-built one that go in that direction. Also keep in mind resale value as often pre-builts will go for more versus a custom one.

You have manufacture warranty; buy quality products and not junk.
You don't need some "pre-built brand" for a warranty.
