That SD card probably isn't compatible with that tablet. The Tablet officially only supports up to 64gb SD cards from only a couple of manufacturers. Some people manage to use 120gb SD cards from Samsung or Sandisk without random disconects after installing different drivers.

^^ This

As the tablet only supports 128GB SD cards it's unlikely to work. Only possible solution I can think of is to create a 128GB partition on it specifically for the tablet.

Even then I doubt it will work......

Phones and Tablets are very picky on Memory Cards.

Look at the full device specs sheet, it should say what the max is supported.

Get at least a Class 10 one, you want a fast one for gaming.
Preferrably from Sandisk, not only affordable (read cheap) but also very good quality.

If the tablet only supported 32 GB (SDHC) that might explain it, but if the tablet supports 64 GB (SDXC) I would think it would support any size SDXC. However, you have to format it with a Linux suitable file system in order for permissions to work properly.

By default SDXC (64 GB and larger) is formatted exFAT and to support that you may need to install exfat-utils package. And while it is possible to use mount options to set general permissions, it would be better to format it with a Linux filesystem like ext2 (who needs journaling on flash) or ext4 if it will be used exclusively for Linux. Then create a directory (folder) on the SD card with permission for you, and in Steam menus, Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders add the newly created directory.

BTW there is no Linux 8 kernal, so I assume you mean Debian 8.

Think mines only got 32gb in but I only use it mainly for streaming steam and Xbox. Got a couple of steam games downloaded to it which work great. It’s a good little machine, especially for the price. Shame it wasn’t more popular
