Logitech Mic Not Detecting
My Logitech G230 headset seems to be working fine, my PC detects and recognises the microphone is connected, but it wont pick up my voice. I have looked on multiple forums with no prevail. I use Windows 7.

Make it the default Recording device and turn on the volume; you shouldn't hear yourself though. If you want to hear yourself for testing, un-mute Mic in Playback. But I would not leave it un-muted in playback for everyday use.

Your headset doesn't have a USB connection. If you've gone through all of the setup in Windows properly and made sure the mute switch isn't on, then the mic or its connector/cable may be bad.

The mic is brand new, so I'm gonna have to look at the connector, thanks.
