On the moment I am running Win 7 and I was wondering is it worth upgrading to win 10?

And if you recenly upgraded whats your experiences with win 10?

Win10 is better

Also, you should be able to use your Win7 key to activate Win10
I did this 2 months ago with my sons PC from Win7 and it worked, so it should still work.

And yes, this is on purpose
Microsoft did this so people could still get the upgrade for free

So assuming they are still allowing it, you can get Win10 for free
You just need a 4GB USB drive to install it onto with the media creation tool and your Win7 key which can be obatined by the program SPECCY

So you can boot from the flash drive and do a clean install. Upgrading the OS can cause problems with drivers and any viruses and other software problems you might have will carry over to Windows 10 resulting in a unstable system it is best to just clean install everything.

wait until the full release. it still has issues and there are things you can not change without messing with the registry, like changing fonts is no longer an option.

The creators update is already released if you didn't get it yet you are still in the download queue
waiting for your turn to download it.

I have a seven year old PC and upgraded from 7 to 10. Everything runs either the same, or better than before.
I was surprised how easy it was.

And what's better: Windows 10 Home or Premium?

Windows 10, Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 S are the flavours it comes in.

Pro offers a few advantage over vanilla Win 10 by letting you defer updates. The S version only allows you to run applications downloaded from the Windows store.

I know steam was glitching. Also had difficulties removing the second post. But it appears to be fixed now.

In that case, I guess the Home "flavor" should do it.
