(is it still alowed to use "mobile space"... No buzzword police sirens yet so I'll leave it like that for now).
Not only do some games crash when you alt tab but some games cause the media player in the background to crash when alt tabbing. I know when im listening to some of my favorite videos using VLC media player VLC crashes on quite a few of my games and it aggitates me to no end. Not saying they should put a video player widget in the UI but just giving an example of some programs that crash due to alt+tabs.
OFC, that would mean more soundtrack released on their own... Valve could take control of music as well as games distro
pause/play
skip(next)

repeat(repeat 1, repeat all)
shuffle (random)
and as soon as you launch the widget from the Steam UI steam seraches for all media players you have installed on your computer and asks "which would you like to control using this widget" and itll automatically launch said media player if it isn't already launched allowing you to control the basic music playback functions with it. see the music wouldn't be played from with in steam itself but rather the media player. It would just be CONTROLLED from with in the steam UI.
B: still requires the use of the web brower which means you can't CLOES the web browser once you load up grooveshark so every time you shift+tab to steam UI itll require you to stare at the web page and re\size it or move it to the side to gain access to anything else in the UI. I want a one shot quick fix for this issue not a work around that requires addotional work and internet to boot.
Hope not
