Should we have all the call of duty games 75% off?
So i have seen loads of games get massive deals. However i think COD has been kind of left out. We have had 50% but the games still cost £20. What would happen with %75 is massive sales. First of all COD 4, amazing mods and imagine it being 4.99 Very cheap and many people would buy it and would probably make more profit than ever. Lets skip to MW3 and BLOPS 2. These games would cost £10 each. The community would love this and again the profit would be massive. I would like the steam community to help me out with this and if you would like this to happen to more games/series post a reply

Ask activision why they are so greedy.
That sure shows when they still want full price for Cod:Black ops 1.
Hell most big budget devs lower the prices of their more expensive games after some time, but Acti is really slow with it.

I used to love Activision, you know. They published a few wonderful games in the old days, then, Call of Duty hit the market and they're not the publisher that I grew to love. Fame and profit got into their head.

Don't worry. Call of Duty will go 75 to 85% off in a year or two. Activision is about to run the modern military shooter genre to the ground while the general public is gunning at the genre for glorifying violence. The cash cow is about to run dry, ladies and gentlemen.

I would also like to see the games at 75% discount as I haven't tried any of them. But I am pretty sure it not just Valve that sets the discount %, so doubt we will se it at 75%.

Anything older than Black Ops II should be 75%, including all DLC. Black Ops II should be 66%, including all DLC.

Ask Activision as they are the ones who approve sales

However given that their offerings during the Amazon sale were just as paltry, dont expect anything. 50% is all you're going to get

Call of Duty 1 is still $20.

Whatever good games activision/treyarch have made are already dirt cheap. MW2, MW, World at War, theyre all cheap. Everything else is sad.

You want to know what pissed me off the most is that the BASE GAME SKYRIM NEVER WENT ON SALE!!!!!! They couldve made huge profits if they lowered skyrim to $10. Instead they lowered the price on the P.O.S legendary edition (which was $36 full of bad DLCs, the only good one being dragonborn and hearthfire). Very annoying.

Indeed, Modern Warfare DLC is very expensive for a game that came 4 years ago.
Look at all the games that came before and after 2009, the majority of those games had like 75% of discount.
Maybe is because of the success of the franchise, who knows but 15 dlls for a 4 year old DLC is very epensive.

Pfft. I wish, but I have since removed them from my Wish List and I have seriously reconsidered buying them, at all, due to the greed behind their refusal to lower their prices for the Summer Sale.

That's up to Activision to decide.

Call of Duty is really overrated anyway, assuming we're talking about the single player. Go play Black Mesa or Crysis Warhead instead if you want an FPS action game.

And if you want to limit yourself strictly to the military-shooter genre specifically, aren't there like a billion other similar "Call of the Battlefield" type games out there pretty much?

So... just buy something else if you think it's not worth the price. There are lots of other similar games out there.
