STEAM UI - FONT SIZE !

I know that this has been mentioned before but i think this really has to be changed!
please implement a font size setting within the steam options/settings

for some it might be too big, but on my 1900x1200 screen the fonts are simply to small.
yes so small that i can't imagine this is healthy for one's eys.
i can not believe that it would be too much work to give users the option to increase/decrease font sizes

the store pages, forums, library and so on are too small or too big for some of us and changing windows settings like resolution or dpi can never be the solution from the point of view of those responsible for this @ steam.


change this please - it is a problem that persists for YEARS now!

to gamingforfun, yes, I have installed a skin to make the font type more contrasty, since I cannot resize it. Late last night, I'm trying to type in chat, and my eyes, my god, 2am tired eyes and font size of what, 4? COME ON VALVE/STEAM! Even Android listened to community begging/demanding and made font size scalable! GIVE US HUGE FOR GODS SAKE.

I myself run 4K on my desktop ( 3840 x 2160 ) and everything is so damn small, I have tried changing font settings in windows but it does not apply it to steam.

Once upon a time, in the land of Steamclient, were born two brothers, tiny letters both, a and b.

As youngsters they happily played together, making as many different words as their little minds could imagine, words such as ab and ba. They would spend hours of their time listening to their favorite band, supergroup Abba.

Upon becoming adults they set off into the world to seek their fortune.

As a had always shown a great interest in algebraic problems (his friends had often teased him, "come on a, don't b squared" they would say) he went on to singlehandedly discover the question to the answer regarding the meaning of life, the universe and everything, which as we know is 42, "except" as a would point out, "on Tuesdays in July, when it is pork."

b liked the words big business and bum, and as a profession, chose the latter. He was however, quite lucky one day to find two hundred and thirty two trillion dollars and forty eight cents on the street. It had apparently been inadvertently dropped by a wealthy property developer while looking for spare change for a parking meter. b immediately bought himself the latest iphone, and then donated the rest of the money to solving all disease and homelessness in the world.

When a and b died, nobody cared. They were so tiny, nobody even noticed.

Actually it is really a problem, and that has already been done. My Windows 7 is set at 150% larger text size (and that's as large as it goes), and Steam client text is still tiny. This is a problem that needs to be fixed in the Steam client, not in our OS.

on windows 8.1/10 it changes the font on steam and its not Tiny. I have not used windows 7 in years... The 8.1 update fixed all the problems and start menu 8 was made so you can have a start menu so if you are still using windows 7 you just missed out.

Windows 8 is unacceptable as a GUI. It makes me furious just like the steam UI. What are these tiles?! SLIDING SETTINGS MENU DESIGNED FOR TOUCHSCREENS!?!?! This looks like a junior app developer drank too much blue caracao and vomited all over the start menu.

Windows 8 is the ebb in the ebb and flow of the microsoft os. It is a shunned bastard child unaccepted by the masses doomed to live a life of mockery along with Windows Vista and Windows ME.

Lets hope 10 improves things a bit... but from what I've seen of the technical previews I don't have high hopes.

start menu 8 takes away the tiles so visually it looks exactly like windows 7. Windows 8.1 with the start menu is much faster and better than windows 7.
THERE IS NO TOUCHSCREEN LOOKING ♥♥♥♥ unless you want it.... Seriously know your stuff before commenting...
