1. Silent Hill 2 and 3 are still being sold as CDs (2 is 3 Cds and 3 is 5!) in the market.
2. Nobody really buys the PC versions because of this format (CDs) anymore and they're light enough to download them via Steam in very little time.
3. They're the ORIGINAL, acclaimed, Silent Hill games, not the later ones which where basically franchise exploits.
4. Silent Hill 2 and 3 PC versions already had multi-language features. As for 4: The Room, it had in some European regions.
5. I remember playing them on a 16:9 monitor and they looked great. Hardly doubt the aspect ratio is going to make this experience a pain.
6. The three of them are perfectly ported for the PC they feel native PC games. Amazing graphics, sound and gameplay; with the keyboard or a controller (rumble!), it would be great though, the Steam versions added full Xbox 360 controller support as I remember playing them with a Logitech and don't know if they support the previously mentioned pad.
7. They'll sell like hot bread! Put them at a decent price and/or in a package... they'll sell tons in the very first days and forever after. Everybody loves this (original, Japanese) franchise.
8. Not real horror games being released these times and these ones still look beautiful to the date.
Isn't there some kind of section where you can tell and vote for the games you want released via Steam?
Let's hope this happens one day and very soon.
and about voting I'll search and we really need to let Konami knows about this.
Agree except on number 2. That is just ignorant. People still buy games online in there cd format all day time still. Physical Silent Hill PC copies are just very hard to come by.
I'd agree with you, but Origins and The Room are the only one's I haven't played, and from videos of gameplay and reads on the story they don't seem too bad. Same goes for that one on the Wii.
They could sell ISOs of the game discs. That would probably never happen.
