PLEASE STEAM MAKE THIS HAPPEN... imagine it wireless headset off to the kitchen then someones calling me in my head and I have unassigned buttons on my headset waiting to simply press "answer" on my G930 headset
Anyone with programming knowledge think this may be easy or hard? My guess would be easy. It sounds like a simple macro creation?
It's more the creep of function keys that would be the problem, any key you assign for this answer call is one less key you have for the game itself. And any key you pick will probably already be in use by something.
It doesnt have to be just for in game either. It can be for simply working within Windows and there are no shortage of keys that could be used especially if you use G-keys or other gaming peripherals.
Is there anyway we can get a default shortcut key for answering voice calls that can also be configured to a key of your choice as well as toggled on and off?
Thanks Gabe, Make it happen
I gotta disagree. Right now, we are in-game hitting Shift+Tab and then moving the mouse to the button. Quickly tapping some random F key or whatever makes sense to assign would be faster and more convenient.
For me personally, I just hate dragging my mouse across 4 monitors to answer the call and then dragging the mouse right back. It's a waste of time, plain and simple. A keyboard option would be faster, even if I had only one monitor. Pressing one button is faster than aiming the mouse, or more likely alt+tab first and then aiming and clicking.
Recka is also right about the assigning not being a problem. It could be optional and you could even allow a custom key of your choice to be chosen. So that's just moot.
