Steam (Valve) should buy Trickster Online?
Dear steam users,

Recently it has come to my attention that SGI(Tricksters creators) does not want to support the game anymore. So im wondering if there are any Trickster Online players on steam which think that Valve should bail/buy this game. I hope there are enough players on steam for this.
I will contact Valve directly if I get the chance to do so. I don't have their e-mail or a way to contact them directly.

Sincerely,

charleon

no. Buying out Trickers online would just tarnish Valve's reputation in the west imo. I personally wouldn't take any company seriously that publishes an extremely girlish anime MMO.

Honestly I'm not sure if Steam would be interested or not, all I can say is I am a fellow steam player who loved Trickster Online :P ur not alone charleon, it was my first online game actually,

Also, nothing wrong with a good anime-style mmorpg

Valve had some uhh... Anime-ish indie games (that I have not yet to try) and thought it did okay?

Fascinating, what game would that be?

My sister is currently playing Fortune Summoners. That's one of them. Again, it's not a lot to find some anime-styled games, but it's there in a sea of the games Westerns adore. ._.;

... that is not developed or even published by Valve as such it has no context in this thread.

Any suggestions are welcome regarding what to do with TO, I actuelly have no solid list who to e-mail (in company's). I do wonder how much it would cost to purchase TO.

Select "Gabe Newell".

Honestly though, I'm not sure if Valve should spend their resources on an MMO. It's often a constant development, and may require specific infrastructure that just isn't set up. Sure they have a lot of money, but would it be a wise business decision?

I mean they may be willing to put it in the F2P section on the store, but buy it and maintain it? eeeeeeeeh.

Project leader of "Rebirth of Memories"... Or at least a member/supporter suggested NCSoft, but I am nto sure how they perform on the US branch, let alone IDK if they even exist. It's like... IDK any companies aside from Aeriea Games, and I do not like gPotato much...

NCSoft does wel in Europe. And not sure if their willing to buy out TO. I will try to ask.

I personally enjoyed playing trickster in the past and even before it was shut down I was enjoying. So I do think that steam if they had the time and resources to take up trickster that they should. In the past it paid for itself but a bunch of bad choices it was caused it to fail.
