Game Randomizer
Basically, it's a button or program that goes through your steam games list and chooses a game for you to play randomly. I'm tired of sitting here with a bunch of games and not being able to decide which one to play so this sounds like a pretty good idea.

You might find this third party website to your liking: http://steam-roulette.heroku.com/

Note that Firefox and Steam-Roulette do not seem to get on too well.

There was a post like this on the forums a while ago.

Im still fairly sure it would go like this:

"Oh i dont know what i want to play, let me click my random button"
*clicks button*
*steam chooses Half Life*
"Hmm im not in the mood for half life"
*clicks button again*
*steam chooses skyrim*
"Hmmmm no, i dont have the time for a go on that right now"
*clicks button* ......

Which sort of negates the use of a random button. :P

"I'm tired of sitting here with a bunch of games and not being able to decide which one to play"

Lol! Hehehehe... it's not a bad dilemma to have, admittedly. I just read a post where someone said people won't use Linux because it had a weird name, and I thought, "Humanity's doomed".

Then I read this post- and you want Steam to start telling you what game you want to play, and not the other way around? Brotha, I don't think you get how the CPU works! Lol! Stuff like that is only cool on NES/SNES emulators that does games of yesteryear. Screw telling today's platform telling me what game I want to play.

Lol- I'll tell you what game you want to play. The one you paid money for! It's not that hard.

@KARR- dude, you hit the nail on the head. That's EXACTLY what it'd be. I about died when I read your post. Silly mortals....

Actually, Fox. I only said the name was weird not that most people wouldn't use the thing. But to be on topic, Karr is right. I once thought to the random thing myself but if you think to it, it doesn't make much sense. I have like 90 games myself and they are ordered in my library so that the top category is all the the games I need to play/finish.

At rare times, I will be in the mood to play something else but think to it like this... What you play is nothing else but what you're in the mood to play. If you're not in the mood to play half of your games then you're better off choosing the game you want to play yourself.

Well lets say you set your games up in categories, like the games you want to play and finish, because I have a few games I want to play but I want to play another which cancels the "want to play a game" feeling. So, make a favorites list and just use the random button on there.
