"Game Checks" to download before buying game.

I want games to start having "game checks" to see if it will work on your computer. It would be kind of like a demo but it could be VERY short. Just something to see if it will work. I have bought too many games that should be able to work but haven't (Saints Row the Third is the most recent). This would help the publishers and buyers because publishers would sell more games and the buyers could buy more confidentaly. Also, don't do a "Can You Run It" kind of thing because that is never accurate for me... NEVER. Help support my idea!

If you meet ALL of the minimum system requirements, then your game should work - but probably at low res and detail. If you meet or exceed the recommended specs, then you game should work well at high, or in most cases for a gaming rig, at max detail.

List all of your specs, and then list a purchased game that failed to play on your pc.

Nope... I meet the requirements for a few games and they still didn;t work. Saints Row 3 meet the requirements. It didn't work. It is just assurance for your purchace.

Didn't start up at all. In fact, a lot of people on the forums are having th same problem as me. I can also run Black Ops, Skyrim and FO NV good.

Processer: Intel Core i5 2410 CPU @ 2.3 GHz
RAM: 4.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system
Video Card: Intel HD Graphics Family
OS: Win 7

As you can see this is not a 3000 dollar gaming computer. My idea would be good for people llike me who aren't sure if It will work. I don't meet the specs for a lot of games but I can still get them to work with a gamebooster and Low quality.

I own it myself, and it did not run so well on my q9400 2.66ghz core2quad and 2 gig HD6570. Ouch - but it did run.

Are you talking about Saints Row 3. Also, I downloaded a gamebooster today called razer gamebooster. You should try that.

Your graphics card = Video Card: Intel HD Graphics Family

The storepage doesn't mention support for Intel graphics, that may have been your problem. Even if you card works for other games.

Maybe... I doubt it though because several of others are having the same problem as me with even better specs. Thats where my idea come in ;)

Quite a few folks did have issues with that game, most of them had amd cards.

Its alright though... Maybe I'll get a neat computer one day.
