CS 1.6 for Android
Why wouldn't Valve create a full port of CS 1.6 for android phones and tablets?

Look at Rockstar, they ported GTA 3 and Vice City and they run perfectly on android devices!
I tried an unofficial port of Half Life and it ran without any lags on my htc dhd, which has only 1 core processor with 1 Ghz and 768 RAM.

That seems so easy, so obvious and i would be happy to pay for that if valve manages to make a full port with ability to use mouse on devices supporting USB-host and online gaming.

Just wanna know how many people think the same?
Who knows, may be if lots of people think so, Valve would hear us out..

I'm sorry, but I cannot back this suggestion. CS1.6 would be terrible on mobile devices, and many users would not be able to use a mouse/keyboard and would be forced to use their touch screen. It would be an unplayable experience and is not worth spending time and money to port it over. The only way I see it being playable is if they completely remake the game to allow easy control with a mobile device. Grand theft auto is a completely different game and is not a twitch shooter.

Probably because they would expect few people to play an FPS on a smartphone.

I tried to play Doom on my tablet, found it impossible, unistalled it.

I don't think an FPS really works on a mobile device. It's far better suited to other types of games.
