That phone icon in Friends now...
Is completely unnecessary, revert back to the way it was...what was wrong with simply leaving the person "Online - On Mobile"? Anyone who cant read "On Mobile" has something wrong with them.

At least make the mobile icon the same size as the text its following, it looks awkward and out of place and it irks my nerve everytime I see it. I tried making the image transparent completely but it keeps redownloading everytime I launch steam. :/

i agree, but like everything else they tweak the stupid things and release ridiculous updates...lol

haha, this is more of an OCD post then anything...is it possible to change the phone image to full transparency?

An image is quicker to grasp than words. And it doesn't have to be translated. Just remember that we also have Big Picture, which is also a symbol now.

It's annoying because now it's harder to tell if the person is only on there phone now. We knew if they were on both from Online, Mobile.

Before if you were logged out on steam but on your phone it would say "Online, Mobile", if you were online on steam AND on your phone it would say "Online - Mobile"...it was confusing, but the phone icon is in such a place that if you were to see them on a list of users that didnt contain the timestamp you couldnt see that they are in fact online on their phone...unless the phone icon moves on a names-only list.

Also, I wasnt aware you could create themes, Ill have to look that up, thanks for the info.

Also, an image may be quicker to grasp, but it doesnt take long at all to grasp the word "Mobile"...you instantly know what it says...its not like it takes a few seconds to understand whats going on.
