Let me fuse friends list with the main steam window.

Its annoying that i need serveral windows for one software. Would be nice with a option to fuse the friends list with the main window about the same way skype does it.

hmm...if you think about it, that would make the text even smaller due to the space required for the list.

Nah, it's far better being a seperate window..I don't see the problem with it, so why try to fix it?...

The fusion technique must be done precisely or it won't work.
There is a lot of padding and spacing involved with multiple windows but you can put them wherever you want. If they do this I'd like to be able to "window-ize" or merge any screen without losing an ongoing chat conversation for example. (browser tabs would be nice)
Of course the current layout works so its unlikely they will change it.

Would be easier to have the friend list snap and stick to the main steam window. Right now it just snaps but doesn't stick :(
