Annoying 'pending transaction bug'
I believe this is not the function itself, it is a bug. And yes, this is annoying :(
I was about to buy CSGO and then I went to the page to choose the payment method. After choosing, but way before getting any confirmation or even being redirected to Valve's Brazilian partner "BoaCompra", I noticed the words "Portuguese - Brazilian", or something very similar on the page top. I got confused, because for a second I thought that was the language of the game I was buying, so I hit "back" at the page to check the option "I verify that I live in Brazil". Then I realised the game was very unlikely to be translated to pt-br so I resumed the process (note that I want the original game language). When I got back to the most advanced page I was, which is just after hitting "purchase for myself" I saw the orange box with the message saying "Não foi possível completar a sua transação porque você possui outra transação pendente para um ou mais itens no seu carrinho." Sometimes I get the message in English ("we could not complete your transaction because there is another transaction pending for one or more items in your cart"), I don't know why. Actually, many times I bought in here I got mixed language pages on Steam, which is not very good for a customer who doesn't speak English. You guys should either have it all be in English or all in Portuguese, not mixed.

Bear in mind I neither actually began any transaction nor got a barcode number or got redirected to anywhere. Now the transaction is there pending and waiting for I don't know what. Removing the item from the cart, loggin out and in again won't work. Not even changing the payment method.

A search on Google suggested there is nothing I can do but wait. But for how long? There's been almost three days, including two business days.

Please fix it!

Having the same issue, gave up on a purchase after BoaCompra didn't recognized my name/CPF, later with the same bug when I try to purchase the game.

Developers do be saying it is a new feature, not a bug (joke)

I've head this issue a few times with PayPal. You should be able to go to your purchase history and cancel the pending transaction. If you didn't finish it on the payment processor it should be fine.

Click username in top right > Account Details > View purchase history

It should show the pending transaction and let you cancel it if it works like it does with PayPal.

Not sure what you mean by code from the purchase though, if the purchase went through then you shouldnt try and cancel anything.
