Please, add the support of service "Gravatar[ru.gravatar.com]". To allow users to upload their avatars through service "Gravatar" on Steam.

This is actually a very good idea. I have registrations on more than 2 dozen sites and I will be more than happy to be able to manage this in one centralized place. Good suggestion !

Gravatar is used among other platforms, in wordpress
which is more than 50% of the entire internet.
I think steam doesn't use it because they charge for avatar customization.

Since you can upload avatars for free, that's definitely not why.

And this thread is ancient, long before they even thought about the Points Shop.
